The GOP did have an infrastructure goal. But the Democrats made it perfectly plain for everyone to understand that they would oppose anything that might make Trump look good.

The federal fuel taxes that we all pay have brought in on average 50 billion dollars a year for the past decade.

That means that every state could have received hundreds of millions to up to and over a billion dollars annually for infrastructure repair and maintenance and let's not forget the fuel taxes that each state collects as well.

We need to find out how all this taxpayer money has been misappropriated before we give the corrupt assholes in DC one more red cent for infrastructure.
