Bibles Pulled From Shelves For Outdated Idea That All Humans Are Of One Race And Made In The Image Of God

Online and brick and mortar booksellers across the country will no longer be selling the Bible due to its "outdated depictions of humanity all being of one race and made in the image of God."
The Bible has long been controversial when it comes to race, suggesting that Jesus Christ can break down barriers between people groups through the blood of His cross and callously proclaiming that everyone is made in God's image and has inherent dignity and worth because of God's infinite worth.
"We're trying to stoke racial tensions, and the Bible is extremely unhelpful at a time like this," said one activist. "Pulling the book will go a long way toward progressing the race war. If everyone believed what the Bible said, we'd have no racial divisions to exploit. Can you imagine all the peace and harmony that would break out? We can't have that -- our careers depend on it."

Comment:
This may be presented in satirical form, but I can certainly see this coming in the near future in real life.
California already has considered legislation that would have outlawed selling of Bibles as promoting hate speech. It was shelved but I am assuming could be easily resuscitated.
This satire is more to the truth than realized. The new Tower under construction by Global man-gods and Planetary Citizens is modeled on a new pagan variant of Hinduism in which certain men are becoming gods because nature (cosmos) is becoming god. This is an evolutionary and pantheist creed in which man is one with nature and has neither individual soul nor mind because he is one with nature. Thus, individual souls (image of God) and the 3rd heaven (supernatural dimension) are NOT ALLOWED.

"When I was a young boy, my father gave me a bullet. I carried that bullet with me in my breast pocket every day. One sunny afternoon, I was walking down the street when a crazed evangelist, threw a Gideon Bible out of a hotel room window, striking me in the chest. Doctors say the bible would have gone through my heart if it wasn't for the bullet."

-- Woody Allen

The bible was used as THE justification of slavery by the western world for 500 years.

Good thing there was no slavery before the bible showed up.

Slavery always needed a rationale.

Actually, not. For most of human history, and for that matter, pre-history, the concept of slavery was as a part of life as food and shelter. Every human civilization had a form of chattel slavery.

No one seriously questioned the concept of slavery in society until the late 18th Century, and many of those who did question it were pious clergymen.

The bible was used as THE justification of slavery by the western world for 500 years. Then you tell right wing "Christians" that they should actually live by the words of Christ and they get extremely angry and call you names.

You know, God actually wanted the Hebrew slaves to be free, which is why He sent the 10 plagues via Moses. Sorry, but using the Bible as justification for slavery is simply stupid.

You can always tell the goyim, but you can't tell them much. :laugh2:

The "Curse of Ham" had nothing to do with pork. If you are not familiar maybe you should have kept your comments to yourself.

Didn't bring up anything about curses or pork, was only talking about slavery. You are the one trying to muddy the waters.

Pretty sure slaves themselves always thought it sucked.

Look at you on a thread about the bible and you don't know what I'm talking about.

Yeah....Christians are evil and Communists are little angels.
The sins of our fathers still haunt us because we have never truly repented.

Slavery is older than the Bible, History as we know it today proves it. Even the Jews were enslaved that has been historically proven.
