Amazing that God would save a Bible from a fire, but there are so many times he just let children burn to death. Were all those crispy children just bad kids?Moral of the story: God's Word will survive any and all assaults against it -- AND -- don't buy a Tesla. Glad the family is safe.
I'm 100% opposed to the intentional murder of a child but perhaps there's a silver lining. I consider Heaven (Paradise) superior to this fallen world we live in. And since kids can't be held accountable for their little sins, I believe their souls are welcome in Heaven. Amazing the reward given to the faithful.Amazing that God would protect a Bible from a fire, but there are so many times he just let children burn to death.
I never considered a young child burning to death in a fire to be a reward. Can you explain that to me?I'm 100% opposed to the intentional murder of a child but perhaps there's a silver lining. Human beings (including you) are made up of body, mind, soul, and spirit. Everyone's body (including yours) will die at some point. Sometimes death is calm and peaceful while other times it's violent, prolonged, and painful. Nobody hopes for another to die a painful death but it's a fact of life we all know exists.I never considered a young child burning to death in a fire to be a reward. Can you explain that to me?
So God cared more about protecting that one particular Bible than he did about the unimaginable pain experienced by children being burned to death? Would you post your definition of loving and compassionate? Your definition seems to be different from mine.Human beings (including you) are made up of body, mind, soul, and spirit. After the death of the body, the spirit is present with the Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:6-8, "Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: [For we walk by faith, not by sight] We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."
God never promised that life on earth was going to be peaches and cream. Mankind "had it made" in the Garden of Eden until they rebelled against God. That was a choice they made ... not God. As a result, mankind was cast out of Eden and had to work by the sweat of their brow. God did, however, offer a pathway back to Eden through His Son, Jesus Christ. He could have simply allowed mankind to wallow in the pain and suffering of his own doing but He loved His creation enough to offer them a way back into His grace. I'm grateful for that.So God cared more about protecting that one particular Bible than he did about the unimaginable pain experienced by children being burned to death? Got it. Allowing innocent kids to burn to death but performing miracles to protect a book shows love and compassion. Sorry. That's not what I would call a compassionate, loving God.God never promised that life on earth was going to be peaches and cream. The original sin in the Garden of Eden...not trusting God. No child was injured in this particular fire. A Bible did not burn. And, like Adam and Eve, your belief is God is not to be trusted.Got it. Do you deny that children die in fires quite often? Was the fire in the OP the only one God noticed?I watched the video. No mention of kids burning to death. So, what are you bitching about? You're just mad because the man's Bible didn't burn up.
Stupid atheists.

It does beg the question of why a loving god would manifest a miracle to protect a book while regularly ignoring the unimaginable suffering of children being consumed in a tire. That might not sound like a big deal to you, but it does to me.Children die often from all kinds of things. So?
The fire in the OP is the one being addressed. You 'naturally' resort to blaming God...not for the childrens deaths, because there were no children who died. You just wanted to ***** about the Bible not being burned up.
Typical atheist bullshit.

You mean God saved the family too? Another miracle!... Glad the family is safe.
Yes, I remember when he said that but I don't recall the exact quotes.God never promised that life on earth was going to be peaches and cream. .
The OP does.Do you believe God preserved that Bible?

The OP does.
NoThat's not what I asked.
Simple question: Do you believe God preserved that Bible?
