The vocals on this song are really good......good enough for Steve Perry or Robert Plant.....as if the lead is a clone of the two.

You could actually hear what they sang, over the clash of their musical instruments?

"Clash of their instruments?" Are you insane, tone deaf, trolling or scared of scary electric guitar sounds. They are pitch perfect. Neil Young's guitar is double drop D tuning and maybe that is messing with your brain.
