We have men and women claiming to be "Apostles" that does not make them Apostles. There are no contemporary Apostles.

I don't believe we can know what is best of all the versions but whatever it would be would be the most well translated and most understandable to our way of speaking. I myself prefer the World English Bible (WEB) now, but use others, including the NKJB, comparing texts for where I think more certainty may be needed.
