Best speech at the NRA Convention

Trump gave his speech at a gun free zone .
Thanks to the restrictions place on the venue by the City of Dallas, and the restrictions placed on the venue by the Secret Service.

What’s your point ?
mostly that you said something stupid trying to be all snarky and it fell flat.

when presidents speak *anywhere*, *any* president, it is gun free. your "giggle" moment reflects on you much moreso than anything else you could be "giggling" at.

Is that like these filthy ass Limousine Liberals going to anti gun rallies with armed security and then going home to their gated communities with the armed guards?

Voting for change, knowing full well that they will commit immoral violations of rights on many fronts regardless of who gets elected, is not enough. In fact, such participation is immoral in itself because it is the basis of their power.

And so you are suggesting what exactly?

Removing support from immorality, instead of feeding it with one hand while waving your disapproving finger with the other.
You mean removing support for government, don't you?

In this context, yes, though obviously that is not the only immorality. The women in the video, and many here, do not support the “Democrat plantation” because they view it accurately as slavery. But they fail to see the very same immorality when it wears a different mask.

If our withholding of support is to have any meaning or efficacy, it must actually be withheld from slavery in all its forms. Governmental authority in any form is slavery, and so our support must be withheld.

Any organizational and defensive functions that do not include a claim to authority may be maintained, but it would hardly be appropriate to call such a body “government”.
Then why did you initially couch it as otherwise.

Um... I didn't. Same message: genuine, consistent commitment to morality. The statement I quoted from the video pointed out how morality is the true solution, not law. I noted that, and went on from there.

If men were angels there would be no need for government. Hence the need for government.

If men were angels there would be no risk in government. As it is, choosing a few from amongst the devilish herd and clothing them in immense power is hardly a logical or effective solution.
