Best rifle for hunting whitetail deer

We got hogs here in Arizona so damn thick we hunt them with hand guns. Taurus 41 mag for me.

Are those hogs good eating, I may have to try that...bucket list.

You can eat em at any size but the yearlings are your best bet.
They havent spent the whole summer picking up parasites and they're more tender.

So wait a minute. who's closer? A trip from Katy Texas to N Dakota is 22 hours.
While I have all the time in the world a trip to S Dakota is 17 hours.
But when I stop to think about it 5 hours doesnt make a whole lot of difference...

I don't buy much of anything at a grocery store, I live on wild game much of the year....
