Plenty of Government Employees posting here, pretty far left, that can't see anything wrong with any Government imposition or mandate, or anything of value of anything or anyone, that dares to question or show resistance. The 2+2=5 for as long as we say it does collective, seems to have a pretty strong voice here.

There are plenty of conservatives who work for Gov't and don't care if there's a shutdown. Though there may be wages lost, the threat of obozocare on the whole of the country is a greater detriment.

The costs will rise dramatically. When the fed goc't subsidizes something, the cost for that goes up. Look at college tuitions, which have exceeded the inflation rate for 30 years.

There will be cuts to benefits. There will be cuts in quality of care. And yes, there will be death panels. Because we do not have unlimited funds for healthcare.
