This was a really enjoyable western. I really liked Maureen O'Hara as the English lady with the Bull. I will always remember her as the fiery Irish red head in the Quiet Man, also a very good movie.
A real good feel-good movie for sure.,

The Quiet Man is one of the few John Wayne movies, I really liked. He managed to shed some of his real man bravado and do some real acting. Rio Bravo and Red River are excellent, due more to the direction of Howard Hawks than Wayne's acting.A real good feel-good movie for sure.,
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, the best movie of the 50s? . Yes, it's certainly good eye candy and one of the better movies that Monroe made but far from best made the 50's or even best Monroe made. Some Like It Hot is by far Monroe's best movie1930s The Wizard Of Oz
1950s Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
1990s Terminator 2
2010s Edge of Tomorrow or Oblivion
I'm just sort of guessing, a few shots in the void.
Gawd Bless you all.Everybody has different tastes.
God bless you always!!!

Gone With the Wind, definitely and Touch of Evil, Dr. Strangeglove, and Babette's Feast all good but not best of the decade in my opinion.1930s: Gone with the Wind
1940s: Rashomon
1950s: Touch of Evil
1960s: Dr. Strangelove
1970s: Kagemusha
1980s: Babette's Feast
1990s: Raise the Red Lantern
