I think you are exactly right there...the Democrat Elites thought they knew better than the primary voters...so they put their thumb on the scale...it's "for their own good" they said to themselves.

And then they lost. Had they won, they could have, and would have said..."look, we were right".

And don't for a second think the Republican Elites are any better. They couldn't stop Trump...but they were the Never-Trumpers working behind the scenes to derail his election. If they had succeeded, we would have never heard the end of how right they were and how much we needed them.

And here the Democrat Elites are again, colluding with the MSM to "save" the primary votes from themselves. Once again, the Elites "know better". Once again they surreptitiously place their thumbs on the scales with the enthusiastic assistance of CNN.

Let's hope the Democrat primary voters learned their lesson last time and won't put up with this again.
