The Bern fans viewed Bern as completely undefeatable. They pretended he is something like Trump, can't be stumped.
What happened to Bernie? Well, it's not over yet, but I'd say that Trump was right, again, when he said "America will never be a Socialist country" suck it commies.

Also if no candidate get to 1991 then the Super Delegates select the nominee, so again not Democracy!

This is a response to the thread I made yesterday, people feeling the Bern were certain he would win. Reality didn't quite pan out... socialism doesn't seem to work even for winning an election.

What happened to Bernie? Hard-core Democrats I know who hate Trump with a passion don't like Bernie the more they learn about him. Free college, honeymooning in Russia, socialism, defending dictators and communism do not resonate with most of America regardless of party affiliation.
With that said, it's no surprise Bernie won California just as Hillary did which gave her the popular vote in 2016. The electoral college was never more needed than it was in 2016.

What happened is the Black community was offended for him ( Sanders ) bypassing Selma, Alabama for California and putting the Hispanic/Latino vote ahead of them.
