This is why I hate discussing things I liked when I was younger with adults. All adults want to do is try and inject their adult mentalities into things and create ideas that weren't ever there. It's like at some point in most people's lives they just want to destroy they used to love.

Can't even watch a old western anymore wit some people because they will complain about "oh look at how the women who cooked the meal now have to clean up while the men just go and sit on the porch".

Too many people are just cynical assholes now and can't just like something for what it is.
