when was the Last time a Muslim Nation bombed and occupied several Christian countries?

The have bombed and occupied their neighbours numerous times. They are also constantly at war with each other. Anyone who tries to pain Islam as benign has got to be the one of the biggest dumbasses in the forum.

This is why I never supported Carson. The presidency should not be an entry level job. As much as Carson has done, and it's a lot, it is not preparation for being president. Ignorant comments like this will get him killed in the election. A skilled politician would have known to avoid the subject.
The truth is that a candidate's values and views are more important than his stated religion. Keep in mind Pelosi and Kerry are both supposed to be Roman Catholics. But so is Antonin Scalia. A Muslim who espoused conservative values, who condemned totally the idea of sharia law for the west and Muslim domination of the West, a Muslim who believed in the essential goodness of America and capitalism would get my vote.

It's true that it was a stupid thing for a politician to say, but nevertheless is a perfectly reasonable proposition.
Not really. Teh Constitution specifically forbids a religious test for office. Carson could have said "Anyone who supports Muslim domination over the West is unfit to be president" and I would have agreed with him. He could have said a bunch of things or nothing and come out better.

The libs would still be attacking him. He never said the law should be changed to a Muslim can't become president.

I've been saying it, the GOP is truly ******* insane.
Ben Carson Says Muslims Should Be Disqualified From Presidency
A supporter at a Donald Trump created quite a stir on Thursday when, among other incendiary remarks, he falsely claimed President Obama was a Muslim.

But the comment raises an interesting question: What if it were true? Why should it matter if Obama was a Muslim?

On Meet The Press, Chuck Todd posed that exact question to Ben Carson, the retired neurosurgeon who is closely trailing Trump in the polls. Carson said he would not support a Muslim president and that only candidates with a faith “consistent with the Constitution” should be President.

CHUCK TODD: Let me wrap this up by finally dealing with what’s been going on, Donald Trump, and a deal with a questioner that claimed that the president was Muslim. Let me ask you the question this way. Should a President’s faith matter? Should your faith matter to voters?

BEN CARSON: Well, I guess it depends on what that faith is. If it’s inconsistent with the values and principles of America, then of course it should matter. But if it fits within the realm of America and consistent with the constitution, no problem.

TODD: So do you believe that Islam is consistent with the constitution?

CARSON: No, I don’t, I do not.

TODD: So you–

CARSON: I would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation. I absolutely would not agree with that.

Funny, I don't remember a religious litmus test in the Constitution for the presidency.....

The Democrat Party has a religious litmus test that says no Christians.

Uhm, no. You are stupid.

Lots of Christians are Democrats. Millions of them, as a matter of fact.
And lots and lots of Jews are also Democrats.

They would never elect a believing Christian to office. I doubt most of them go to church.

Ahhhh, so, you think they are only Christian if there is an (R) next to their names....

LOL....

Britard, you're hysterical, in many threads, you claim anything the government publishes is lies and propaganda, and in another thread, you cite census data. You have no room to talk.

Making one religion the national religion is unconstitutional and is huge government...But, I guess this is more important then paving our roads.

I agree with Carson. Muslims are nice enough people but they have no business being President of these once great United States

Where did I cite census data? I also cite the New York Times when it makes claims the dispute the left-wing orthodoxy. You turds don't accept right-wing sources, so I have to assume that you find left-wing sources credible.

No one proposed doing that, numskull.

He said a Muslim should not be president. That is a religious test for office, which is forbidden.

So you only believe data that supports your narrow bigoted worldview. Refer to my thread on obamacare and poverty, you cited the census.

They are only nice when they are vastly outnumbered. Once they congregate in significant numbers they turn into a bloodthirsty mob.
