I think New York City has gone shelter in place.

"A Belgian doctor working to battle the coronavirus says he’s treated several seriously ill young patients — and their lung scans were “nothing short of terrifying,” according to reports.

Dr. Ignace Demeyer, who works at a hospital in Aalst, said an increasing number of people between the ages of 30 and 50 have presented with severe symptoms, despite having “blank medical records” that show no underlying conditions that would make them high-risk, the Brussels Times reported."

It's still there in The Brussels Times -- Belgian doctor says young coronavirus patients also getting 'severely ill'.

"The Brussels Times is aimed at EU officials, researchers, development professionals and diplomats based in Belgium. Established in 1969[citation needed], The Brussels Times is today Belgium's largest[citation needed] English-language news website. It provides expats, foreigners and Belgians with Belgian news, EU affairs and opinion pieces. It has no political affiliation and aims to present the news fairly and offer a wide range of analysis and opinion pieces, both local and global. It also publishes a bi-monthly print magazine, which is distributed free in the European Commission, European Parliament, over 150 embassies and many representations to the EU, as well as inside more than 10,000 hotel rooms in Belgium, many of which are in Brussels. It is also sold at most bookstores and newsagents around the city."

It doesn't appear to be a tabloid news source.

I don't mean to be alarmist, but am one of those who wants the best info. I think it means the powers that be in the US will take it more seriously. There's news of Trump saying everyone will get $1000.

Italy the same-
Italians admitted to hospital for coronavirus are getting younger, a health official has claimed.

“The type of patient is changing,” Luca Lorini, the head of anaesthesia and intensive care at a northern Italian hospital, has said.

“They are a bit younger, between 40 to 45 years old and the cases are more complicated.”

Dr Lorini, who works at a hospital in Bergamo, told radio programme RaiNews24: ”People are arriving who got ill six or seven days ago and treated themselves at home – and then their conditions became more and more critical.”

Twelve per cent of those who have been treated in intensive care are aged between 19 and 50, according to official figures released last week. Around 52 per cent are between 51 and 70 years old, with the rest all over 70.
