Trumpsters could not get enough of "drain the swamp!" chants in 2016...well it's 2020 and at the conclusion of his brief stint at the White House Trump is real busy bailing out corrupt politicians, government defrauders, murderers and personal associates that lied for him to investigators.

Former U.S. Rep. Duncan Hunter of California was sentenced in March to 11 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to a single count of unlawfully using more than $250,000 in campaign funds, just one of 60 counts he and his wife, Margaret, faced at the time. Court documents stated the former Marine and his wife racked up more than $37,700 in overdraft fees and stole the money to cover basic living expenses — including their childrens' schooling, groceries and pet food for the family rabbits. They then splurged on big ticket items, including luxury hotels, airline tickets, and dinners.

Former U.S. Rep. Chris Collins, R-N.Y., convicted for insider trading, has been serving a 26-month prison sentence in a minimum-security federal prison in Florida.

Collins, who served on the board of an Australian biotech company, Innate, pleaded guilty to tipping off his son and the father of his fiance about the results of a drug trial so they could unload stock ahead of a bad announcement. That information allowed them to make timely stock trades and avoid more than $768,000 in losses, according to court documents.

Trump commuted....Texas congressman Steve Stockman, who was convicted of 23 felony counts, among them money laundering and mail and wire fraud.

Blackwater killers... jury found they...ambushed innocent civilians without provocation. On Sept. 16 2007, the ex-guards opened fire with machine guns and grenade launchers in Baghdad's Nisour Square, killing the 14 unarmed civilians and wounding 17 others. All four men were convicted in 2014 for their roles in the massacre on charges ranging from first-degree murder to voluntary manslaughter.

Philip Esformes, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison last year for what the Justice Department has called the largest single health care bribery and kickback scheme in U.S. history,...has also had his prison term commuted by Trump.

The list just keeps going and going and going.

Clearly what happened to all these criminal degenerates was a misapplication of justice and needed Trump's compassionate pardon to set right. :eusa_shhh:

It's yet another reminder that despite the hand-wringing about "sanctity," these trumpfisti have no regard for human life whatsoever.

As if their intentional disease spreading and deep love of air pollution were not reminder enough.

Trump plays by different rules than past presidents, which is largely why he will soon be a past president. But I don't see why anyone pardons a congressman who took bribes/stole money. It's ok in "Trump World," but it's not ok. It's way beyond the Swamp of officials working as lobbyists or working for the same corporations they are supposed to regulate. At least there, it's true that a govt official has to understand the market.

I don't really have any issue with him pardoning in Russiagate, although imagine the faux hysteria of the trumpanzees if Hillary was doing the same. W for all his failures refused to pardon Scooter Libbey, and just commuted his sentence …. and let him live with the fact he was a felon.

Thats not a coherent post.

Absolutely nothing about Trump losing or winning an election excuses this deplorable abuse of Presidential power to subvert justice, directly counter to his sworn duty to uphold it.

It's like he is hellbent on proving time and time and time again why he was never fit for the high office Americans entrusted him with.

Don't like it? Write him a letter and tell him how you feel.

It's also Trump's right to take a shit on the Resolute desk televised live in prime time. Except what he is doing with his pardon power is way more discusting.

If all you can say about this abuse of office is "oh well it's not illegal", then maybe it's time for you to take a long look in the mirror and consider the character looking back....and maybe it's also time for Congress to consider revisiting the pardon process.

Good thing I'm not the one writing the pardons, eh?

:auiqs.jpg: :laughing0301::lmao:

Lol. I sure laugh at all the crazies. We have Penelope on another thread making a case for Hunter Biden to be pardoned, we have the op all upset that Trump pardoned people.
We had Clinton selling pardons. We have had previous president pardoning and commuting sentences. Even the lefts great messiah 44 pardoned and reduced sentences. Some I am sure felt that every pardon or commutation of a sentence was wrong or just down right despicable.
If anyone really feels that upset get the power removed. Other wise it is just another thing to pretend to rage about and is nothing short of comical.
