It's from ari aster. He did hereditary which to me was a great movie that genuinely creeped me out at some parts and reminded me of contemporary horror like the movie The Innocents. And he did midsommar which was also very well done and unique, kind of reminded me of like alejendro jodorowskys movies.
Visually it looks amazing and Joaquin Phoenix is always fantastic. I have high hopes for it. A24 consistently releases interesting and unique movies with a very strong indie feel but with good budgets.
