So Candy tell us since you're a typical representation of the left. When you do see images of people pouring over our borders sneaking in (and for a moment at least let's assume they are for real) does it make you happy to see that ?
Are poorly protected borders something you like seeing so that as many people can get by the border patrol as possible ?
Why is it the left always seems to be the ones that rush in to defend illegals ?
Wrong again, as usual.
And this is yet another example of the ignorance common to most on the right.
No one is ‘defending “illegals,”’ it’s the rule of law which is being defended.
One is not ‘illegal’ until such time as he has been found guilty of entering the country absent authorization, or remaining in the country absent authorization, in a court of law.
Undocumented immigrants are entitled to due process of law, and are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The issue of border security and immigration is complex, not subject to quick and easy ‘solutions’ advocated by most on the right, where in fact most conservatives seek to exploit the issue with demagoguery, bigotry, and fear-mongering, in no way seeking a solution to the issue.
But however the issue is addressed, whatever the solutions might be, we must always acknowledge, respect, and follow the rule of law, not the fear, ignorance, and bigotry practiced by far too many on the right.
