A news report yesterday reported that the Royal navy had escorted Russian ships that were in UK waters out of the area, the intention to create more anti Russian hysteria, if those ships were not inside the three mile limit off the UK coast then they were in international waters, the french have a three mile limit also, so that leaves about 14 miles of international waters that those Russian ships were in, the English channel is a transit route for ships its the busiest waterway in the World, these clowns just can't stop lying and spinning.

SECTION 2. LIMITS OF THE TERRITORIAL SEA

Article 3
Breadth of the territorial sea

Every State has the right to establish the breadth of its territorial sea up to a limit not exceeding 12 nautical miles, measured from baselines determined in accordance with this Convention.

The English Channel is at most is at most 21 miles so it is the territorial waters of France and England up to their 12 mile limit. None of it is considered international waters.

The territorial limit is three miles of both the UK and France, if it was 12 miles every ship and there are about 4 hundred a day would be violating our or French waters, watch this British propaganda vid from 2022 when Russian ships passed through the Channel, they say in International waters.

The law is the law...

Russia has been interfering with undersea cables so they are told to keep away...

"Finnish authorities investigating a severed undersea power cable said over the weekend that they discovered a 60-mile-long anchor drag mark on the seafloor — which they say is linked to a Russia-affiliated vessel."

What are the rules for territorial seas?
Territorial Sea. Each coastal State may claim a territorial sea that extends seaward up to 12 nautical miles (nm) from its baselines. The coastal State exercises sovereignty over its territorial sea, the airspace above it, and the seabed and subsoil beneath it.

It looks like Russia was breaking the law on Innocent Passage.

Any actual evidence Russia damaged sea cables or is it more Russiaphobic bullshit? although if they had i wouldn't blame them with Western/ British missiles like storm shadow slamming into Russia, and yes the law is the law and you can't spin your way out of it.

The English Channel has international waters that separate the territorial waters of the UK and France. It is estimated that at its narrowest point, there are 14 miles of international waters between Dover and Calais, while at its widest point, there are 144 miles of international waters.

Commerical shipping isn't governed by territorial waters. Look it up instead of basing it on what you think warships can or can't do.

Hilarious, you talk about lies and yet what you posted is LIES.

You say the Royal Navy "escorted Russian ships... out of the area"

No, that's not what the BBC wrote.

"Royal Navy and RAF shadow Russian ships in UK waters"

It says they "shadowed" the ships. Those ships are allowed to go through the Channel, the Royal Navy watches them as they go. They didn't "escort", they "shadowed"

Not surprising really, your analysis of most things Russia is piss poor, just like this laughable hilarity.

Shadowed so what? the point is those liars at the BBC said they were in UK waters they were not they were in international waters.

You really don't do any fucking research do you? Just open you mouth and shout as loudly as you can.

Here's a map of British and French waters. Look at the area between Dover and Calais. There's no international waters there. Half is French, half is British.

English territorial waters, and French, extend 12 miles out from the coast line. The distance between Dover and Calais (or at least the nearest points of land, rather than the actual towns) is 21 miles. Do the math.

Also, the Russians WENT INTO BRITISH WATERS according the the Daily Mail.

The Daily Heil leave it out, the paper who backed Mosley and Hitler before the war, you can bark all you want the UN international convention on the law of the seas allows shipping from any Country to transit the Channel at its narrowist point between Dover and Calais, the fact is the BBC were fear mongering again with a stupid headline.

A typical Deadstick post. I post loads of things that show you're talking crap, and the ONLY thing you talk about is that I also showed that the Daily Mail said the Russians entered UK waters.

You really aren't taking your Putin cocksucking seriously, are you?

Just giving you the facts which you can't seem to grasp or don't want to.

Facts? What facts? You post a BBC article and claim they're lying. You don't post any evidence they're lying, do you? Nothing. You just make a claim and don't back it up. How many times have I accused you of that? Loads, because it's what you do EVERY TIME.

The EU is determined to destroy itself, nothing else makes sense

I have backed it up but you never listen.

These Russian ships did not sink after they were not sunk? A wonder. Yesterday I saw four tires in the street where the day before a car stood. A Russian had sprayed his Russian car with rust remover.

Your article doesn't say escorted, they shadowed. That means they only kept an eye on them as they passed through. The BBC didn't lie, you did. Remoaner pillock.
