#1. We have all the lithium we need right here in the US. You are a hypocrite concerning the Cobalt in the Congo. None of you Luddites said shit until it started being used in batteries. And there is less and less cobalt being used as batteries improve.

#2. At present. However, a couple of years of burning petrol or diesel, and that ICE has put out far more GHG's than was used in manufacturing the battery even at present. And that does not even count the CH4 and CO2 emitted in obtaining the oil, transporting it, and refining it. Basically, you have told a complete lie.
