Lehighs are made in US or Canada. They make good boots. I'm set for boots for the next decade or so. Current pair is Keene's with EH NS, NM, Ladder-lock and steel toe and waterproof and all kinds of stuff.

Nothing wrong with Hi-Tecs, But Merrells fit my foot perfectly.

I have tall kids as well. #1 is 6'3 and around 250lbs at 39 yo. #2 is about 5'10 & about 160lbs (shortest of the 3).....then there's #3 who is 6'5 and barely 150lbs......and he eats constantly. At 19, he could still grow about another inch before he's done.
