I fully agree. I also want to extrapolate this to many other areas. Our politicians should be held to the same standards as the people, including the standard of living. While they serve in congress, they must live in the DC Ghetto, there they will will develop an interest in helping the people they are supposed to serve. No politicians should ever be able to send their children to elite private schools, they have to go to public schools in the DC Ghetto. Those in politics just for the riches will go away immediately, and those that remain can be trusted to actually do their job for the people.
