The sex of the victim is relevant in that child molesters sometimes have a preference- and sometimes just molest children of any gender.

One can observe that he is a homosexual whose sexual maturation was stunted for some reason, and probably suppressed, but the inclination is there, which defines him as homosexual.

But this is not a general indictment of homosexuals any more than observing that men who abuse little girls are heterosexual.

But a man who is an "open" homosexual and has "normal" relationships with other men is no more likely to molest children than a heterosexual adult who relates normally to his spouse. Almost NONE of the abusers who have come to light in recent decades have been "open" homosexuals, and yet many of them have been married, with wives and kids. One might almost conclude that an open homosexual is less likely to be a child abuser than a married man.

The point is that "openly" homosexual men are attracted to teenage boys just as "normal" heterosexual men are attracted to teenage girls. No parent in his/her right mind would allow a "normal" heterosexual man to supervise a camp full of teenage girls but the quirky left wing mentality would force the BSA to allow an "openly" homosexual man to supervise teenage boys.
