Judging by the replies, you have apparently defiled the sacred cow of Women's Sports. Given the official dysphoria over the sexual alphabet, it would seem fitting that all sporting events should be open to all people of every persuasion.

I think Conservative support of women's sports is markedly based in some sort of male patriarchal desires to keep women in their place, even if it is a seemingly positive thing. So long as women reinforce the idea of clear gender lines and tradition, they like it. But it isn't based in actual support of women-it's self serving.

This is not about women in sports, its resources and who pays for them. There is a reason there was/is midnight basketball in depressed areas of our cities a couple of decades ago or so. Males need to get the frustration out of them because of their physical bodies. But we are changing that but really are not.
