Bahamas are a former British colony. So why isn't the UK helping after the hurricane?

Here's my solution. We take over the Bahamas, rebuild with hurricane proof resorts and housing and the US government gets a percentage of proceeds and taxes from The New Bahamas.
If that was a common sense solution we would have done that with Puerto Rico.

Hurricane Dorian devastated the Bahamas which is a former British colony.

Yet the U.S. is overseeing the relief efforts and taking in refuges.

So where are the British? ... :dunno:
They are fending off their new Muslim immigrants.

UK to allocate £1.5 million to help hurricane-hit Bahamas
1.5 million pounds! Wow. Be careful you don't use all your resources bailing out the Bahamas, England. :icon_rolleyes:

Hell, David Gilmour just auctioned off his guitars for "climate change" and netted $21 million dollars. That's about £17 million British Pounds.

Cheapskate bastards. :laughing0301:
Where are the billionaires with financial help for the people of the Bahamas? Nowhere that’s where. A fraction of their enormous wealth could easily make conditions there much more livable.

Crazy psychopaths!

In all honesty, the Brits are basically useless now. In HK, a former British colony; they are flying U.S flags, not the Union Jack. That's how much the citizens there have faith in Britain and their system.

Sad but true.
What percentage of HK residents are flying U.S. flags?

Well......since everyone else is either a dictatorship or a socialist country...we're the only country that has any money.
We`re no longer in debt? That`s great news!
So you claim that the government has no money now???
