I've barely seen any GOP Congressman or Trump's social media “influencers” on X and other platforms call what is "America First," as

it stands, as being abandoned. I imagine the Democrats are pretty satisfied with these results, though.

I am disappointed

But realistically I never expected to get everything I want

In time we can learn the true dimensions of the compromise with china

What you seem to miss is that 80% of a load is better than no loaf at all. If that means that some illegals get a temporary pass to avoid bad optics, that's ok by me. I'm still getting exactly what I want.

If allowing Chinese students gets me a better deal in trade negotiations, I'm all for making that concession. I'm a pragmatist, not an absolutist. "True believers" on both sides are their own worst enemies.
