I don't want to derail your thread....or rain on the parade here ....but since you asked, the reason I gave a sad face emoji is because in my view eating pigs is no different than eating dogs. In fact pigs are even smarter than dogs, and have individual personalities like dogs or cats do. (Alright I'll put my on my flame suit now. I know from experience how thoroughly pissed off people get when these things are stated. And that's putting it mildly.)

Ok, so you aren't a meat eater.

There are lots of breeds of pigs who are.

I love all animals, and I will protect them all I can. BUT.......
I also understand and comprehend the circle of life on this planet.

There are many other cultures that eat ANY animal, including dogs, cats, horses, and pretty much anything that is alive that isn't human.
