Back in the day......

Free range childhood…galloping horses across the greens of an Uber exclusive school simply because it was there and they were snotty. We were total shits.

When I grew up it was common for one of the kids in class to be wearing a cast for a broken arm.
That would be a rare sight today.
Seeing how kids don't play outside much.
They're in their room all day playing video games.

Some kids wore more band-aids than clothes.

My mom tired of spending more on band-aids than groceries and started yelling at us "Shut up and get outta here or I'll give you something to bleed about ! !"

It seems like someone always had a cast or stitches…I think it is sad today that kids only have play dates and structured play. We had a “gang”….outside, creating games, bicycling anywhere.
