I guess you don't understand it. Maybe you haven't seen my posts. I desperately belieive in rescues.

I have two crazy kitties who can attest to this. My eldest rescue who I only buried back a couple of years ago, pyewacket made it to 21

how to put it nicely? pyewacket lived longer with me than two husbands I just adore the breed and would love a baby burmese.

Never had Burmese, but I've had Abbysinians - love them. I imagine Burmese don't show up that often in rescue do they?

A cat breed that is relatively rare in rescue is the Maine coon. A year ago, we adopted a pure bred Maine coon from rescue who had shut down a kitten mill. We had waited a long time but it was worth it to stick by our ethics and not buy from a breeder.
