Does no one see what is going on here? The state is not charging this guy with a crime for two reasons:

1. The perp is a STATE democrat employee. If they gave him a criminal record, he would never be able to be promoted to running for mayor of the city someday.
2. They are not charging this democrat because they APPROVE of what he did. They only wish he had keyed MORE Teslas. So, they are soft-balling this to minimize impact on him while minimally placating his victims.

If he were a republican, they would be throwing the book at him.

Note that not a single democrat is complaining about this guy getting off light. If he were a republican, they would want his headless body deported. If a red city did this for a MAGA employee, democrats would be holding impeachment hearings while camping out on the guy's doorstep with torches.

Here is a guy who committed six FELONIES. If he were a republican, they would be telling him to sell his house to pay the bills from prison while calling for a 486 million dollar fine. If I were the victims, I would fight to appeal the case to a higher court and get this guy SENT TO PRISON WHERE HE BELONGS. Tough shit if he loses his job.
