Attacking Churches acceptable?

When churches become political forces set against the will of the people they run the risk of this.
What about when political forces overstep their bounds against the will of the people? Are you saying violence is to be expected or only when a Church is involved?

They should be afforded the opportunity to promote the political will of their constituents without threats and acts of violence.
When you look at churches like westborough and the other gay haters they have obviously losst any credibility.
They can promote whatever they want but must expect pushback when they do.

Rhetorical, social and political push back sure but never violence.

Demagogues will always convince the mob of that.

Im ambivalent on that score. Would look at it case by case.

Nazis tried to march in our town. Common decency and respect for our neighburs means you have to oppose this. Some things you cant put up with.

It is the costs of everything involved totally that will end up affecting a dictator coming up with the answers.

In a civilized society the most fundamental of "things" we can't put up with is violence that isn't an act of self defense.

Also I'll amend my previous statement to Republicans, apparently we will have one dumb twat who would excuse fire bombing churches because they have beliefs he doesn't like.
