In a country where the balance of power swings wildly between law enforcement and criminals, Atlanta has launching a program that as of this moment will let crime run rampant without and police officers in pursuit. Literally.
Atlanta Police Will No Longer Chase Criminals

This is how society is going to go down real fast......add this on top of multiple other articles similar.
LOL wait until they say fk it take of the chit yourselves and we told you, idiots, ONCE again this is what's going to start happening too. But you leftist can't think past your fkn noses.

Police pursuits are problematic. They put the public, and police officers, at risk and often the person trying to evade police is guilty of nothing more than an expired driver license. Unlike TV, police pursuits most often end up with the fleeing driver getting away.

The rules that police must follow to engage in vehicle pursuits are complicated and a police officer is guaranteed to be thrown under the bus (figuratively if not literally) if something goes wrong.

Not allowing vehicle pursuits is an exercise in reducing law suits against police (the number one mission of many big city police departments). I suspect they will try this policy, then, after some high profile bad guy is allowed to get away, they will go back to an even more complicated set of vehicle pursuit rules.
