There are tons of articles all over the place about intelligent design. So, here's one. If you take a dead cell, it still contains all the chemical elements of life. Yet we cannot bring it back to life. Even when life already existed, we can't restart it. So, the idea that life first emerged from raw, lifeless chemicals is not just unproven. It's implausible.

It was postulated that the universe is made up of mind stuff by renowned physicists/scientists such as Eddington, Weizsäcker, Pauli and Wald. Heck, the whole idea that the universe is a simulation is based upon these decades old beliefs of these prominent scientists. .

It's YOUR perception of God that is lacking. I wouldn't believe in your perception of God either. Mine syncs right up with science. Yours does not. FWIW I discovered my belief before I heard about the science. My belief is based upon logic and observation. That the only thing that can be an eternal source of creating is the incorporeal. I arrived at it logically using the attributes of truth.

Yes, the newer bibles have changed a lot of words based on their interpretation and biases. But, that has been going on since the letters and journals of the original Apostles. In 170AD the verse “God is Spirit” and “God is One” was added to support the change in belief of the Godhead into the belief of the trinity. Many other changes as well. Nothing new.

Idol worshipping is as old as Adam. Nothing new. It’s what happens when people only learn The Who and where about the stories and information in the scriptures. But many don’t learn the “Why?” To dig deep into the real purpose of being in the scriptures and the doctrine. The biggest reason why people fall away from their faith and Church. They haven’t developed a true testimony of why you believe.

LDS believe in evolution. Here it is step by step:
1. We were originally intelligences (pure energy and Einstein always existed)
2. We evolved when Father and Mother in Heaven had spirit children and our intelligences were placed in our spirits (a much finer material than earthly bodies)
3. We could not evolve or progress into receiving heirship of Father's Kingdom until resurrected. So, we evolved into physical beings here on earth and placed into our physical earthly bodies to learn knowledge of good and evil (everything we can learn)
4. After death, our spirits separated and put in a spirit world or prison because we are without our physical earthly bodies. But, there will be a time of resurrection where our spirits will be joined with our dead bodies and we will rise with the Lord's dead body to resurrection.
5. Most in the resurrection will be in heaven and a place of glory but damned from evolving or progressing any further. Some will reach the highest degree of heaven, the highest degree of the Celestial Kingdom and will be able to evolve and progress into Godhood type state over their own universe as joint heirs in our Father's kingdom.
6. Next step, unknown at this time.
