Yeah. A brave soldier from Dagestan and some Ukrainian widows and orphans. Their children will be Russians.

Russia is not "indifferent".
Russia 1) doesn't think that those deaths are sensless. 2) saved, liberated and earned at least seven million of Russians, so, total balance of human lifes is positive.

Russia decided to invade assuming minimal casualties
Now they are facing most Casualties since WWII
All for territory that has been independent for 35 years

Listen to the discent Americans for once. Educate yourself a little.

No. Russia decided to "invade" to prevent much more terrible casualties.

Yes. And it is because we are, in fact, in WWIII.

It's not for territory. It's all for safety of Russia and Russian people.

so…….Russia is the victim here

Russia could have offered residency to anyone of Russian nationality in Ukraine
Unlike your propaganda, there was no genocide of Russian civilians in Ukraine

We are not in land-grabbing business, we are in Nazi-killing business, and business is going pretty well.

Well, I've heard it said that Ukrainians are Nazis, but Crimea, Donbas, those sure look like land grabs to me. Seems to me that considering the USSR gave up those territories and already has the most land area as Russia and that Ukraine is right next door, that all you really had to do is ask if you can come visit them and benefit from them as helpful trading friends and good neighbors.

Or is that just too much to ask from Putin, Mike?

helpful trading friends and good neighbors.
Whatttt? Do you know what a Hohol is, much less a Banderite? They killed a bunch of civilians just yesterday when those preferred to stay with their homesteads when Hohols were forced to retreat and leave the settlement. You know why? Because those were ethnic Russians, although they have been born and lived their entire life there. They can't be trading friends, they need to be extinguished like cockroaches.

Yes, well, war is the choice they have made. Both Ukraine and Russia could have instead chosen brotherhood and prosperity instead.
I did not say Russia bore all the blame here, it takes two to Tango, but in this dance, Ukraine should understand they will be the losers.

We were, a brotherhood, back in the Soviet Union, but after 1991, when out of the blue they became "free", all of a sudden they started to blame Russians for all the hardships they had ever endured, although we had suffered just as much and didn't blame anyone of them all 14 soviet republics.

Many suffered under the USSR
Ukraine and many states wanted no part of it

I can’t wait until some Russian patriot dispatches Putin with extreme prejudice.

It was the war you have little idea about that caused the suffering. The USSR won that war and stopped the suffering of the many.

There were, and still are discrimination and genocide of Russian civilians in Ukraine. We suggested them residency and they agreed. They left Ukraine and took their houses and their land with them.

And, talking about safery of the Russian Federation - American tanks and missiles near Kharkov are much less acceptable to Russia than Russian tanks and missiles in California are acceptable for the USA.

Just the refresh memory - "The ladder of escalation."

Ok. Americans, under certain circumstances might prefer independence of California to another Civil war. (Who really cares if California becomes another Canada?). But absolute majority of Americans would prefer a war between the USA and California to Californian membership in Shanghai block with Russian and Chinese missiles deployed there (say nothing about mass murders of Californian WASPs by Californian Spanish speaking Battalions of Death).

"California as Canada" is not really a big deal. "California as Cuba" is a vital threat to the very existence of the USA and American people.
So, the absolute necessities for the peace are - equal rights (denazification), equal safety (demilitarization) and neutral status. No them - no peace.
