Thank you. I looked into this and found that Thomas Jefferson was pretty much the only Founding Father that did so. He also advocated "spilling the blood of Tyrants" referring to the very government he was the head of.“A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. Virtually every other FF spoke of the "right to bear arms" only in the context of the militia
