Assassin’s rifle has been found by ATF

One does need a little bit of training. Not sniper or anything just basic training. 150 yards is less than the mid range targets the US Army needs to hit to qualify with an M16/M4. Guys who shoot only once a year can hit that.
Realize his head was not stationary and even with a scope the rifle must be steadied and that’s not easy from 150-200 yards sways

200+ yards and a clean getaway..screams pro--but rhetoric engraved on bullets screams nutcase.
Maybe a false flag? Misleading info to confuse the cops..and the public?
A lot still to be determined---unless you've already made up your minds~
200 yards is nothing.

That’s an easy distance. Any deer hunter can make that shot. 800 yards? That’s a horse of an another color.

Apparently the authorities have located a rifle that was likely used to kill Charlie Kirk.

It also has transgenderism rhetoric on it.

Is anyone going to be surprised if the shooter is another transgender nutjob?

Hopefully not a radical right false flag. Not common for sure, but still an option in nutty America. Personally, I lean towards mental tranny leaning. But just no telling nowadays.

That's so odd....
I thought they only came in 7.62 or something like that.

They were German made, confiscated and ended up in civilians hands after the War...

Our soldiers used 30-06. Ammunition swapping is not usually the case in wartime.
I dunno....

Nobody wanted those in 7.62 back when so many of them were being imported. So many of them were converted to .308 or 30-06.

Most competitive shooters today use ARs and 5.56.
It seems like a weird gun to use if the guy was a pro, unless that's part of the deception?
I would not use 5.56 to ensure a kill at 200 yards.
Nor would I. It's a good enough round I guess, but I'm gonna go with 7.62/.308 for anything over a hundred yards.

Bull. It hit him in the neck ffs.

So?

Or he wanted something that would go through a Kevlar vest. Or it was just an old hunting rifle he bought for cash in the hope it would be untraceable.

If it’s transgender again then how much more proof do we need that messing with your body like that Does Damage your brain. We need a national ban on these procedures

I find it hard to believe, a German Mauser shoots 7.92×57mm Mauser. We called them 8mm Mausers. This is likely bad information. I do think the caliber was greater than a .223 AR-15 as that impact was more ferocious, unless special ammo was used.

The only downside to 7.62/.308 is that after 100 yards, it starts dropping like a rock. A 150 grain .308 bullet fired with the standard muzzle velocity of M2 ball of ~2700 fps, and sighted in at 100 yards, drops almost 10" by the time it reaches 250 yards, and 16.77" by the time it reaches 300 yards.

Marine Riflemen with the M14 in 1963 warmed up at 350 -450 Yards and experts routinely shot 700 + easily
