As Your Kids and Grandkids Return to Schooll...

Always knew there was a reason I refused to sing america the beautiful and say the pledge.

In Mein Kampf, Hitler claims to have been influenced by Germany's Christian Social Party. Some time before adopting the economic policies of Fascism from his buddy Benito, but hey... :eusa_whistle:

Point being? Fascism puts corporations ahead of workers...NS doesn't.

Leftwing extremists don't care about children. This thread is proof of that. They see them as expendable grist for the mill.

Some of us believe that kids are precious enough to be told the truth. Do you? :eusa_eh:

I don't think telling your kid not to say the pledge, or telling him that a socialist wrote it, and to honor the writer not the words, while cackling about that fact on a message board, is really in the interest of *truth*.

....make sure you remind them that when they recite the Pledge of Allegience on Monday, they are paying homage to the author.......a SOCIALIST.

Happy New Year
Wow, the authors name is in the pledge?

Who knew. Here I thought it was the United States.

We can't have that, can we?

The pledge was written by an advocate of socialism. That is a true fact.

Yes, and I think they should be aware that they are receiving a substandard education for maximum cost.

After all, look at the level of intellect the OP has exhibited.

I didn't say anything different. I said it's not in the name of truth that the OP tells his kids not to recite it, and it's not in the name of truth that he tells others to tell their kids to honor the writer and not the concept of our nation.

"the concept of our nation"? Do tell :eusa_eh:

What a bunch of reterded drivel. I never knew this till today. Does that mean my childhood was somehow impacted?

Don't be such a fucking hack and let the kids be kids.

I take it you've never heard the pledge.

Meh.

The truth was my exwife, the mother of my children, turned into a complete bitch obsessed with her church rather than her own family. And I don't say bitch in the nicest way either. After our divorce my kids would call and complain about her and iinstead of telling them the "truth" I protected their childhood and told them that respect for their mother was of utmost importance. Meanwhile I did everything I could to get custody, which I eventually did.
Now as adults they freely admit that what I did was right and are glad I didn't use them as a weapon against their mother like she did to me.

It just appears to me that many of you have no problem using kids as a weapon to further your own ideology and proclaim it all in the name of "TRUTH"

So sad that it's obvious you don't understand the value of your kids half as much as you do your own ideology

Right, right. "One nation" not a federation of states, right? (the ideas of liberty and justice are a bit more subjective. No doubt a Christian Socialist had some different ideas about these than either you or I do)

Meh. I pledge allegience to the flag, and to the nation, for which it stands.

What nation?

Oh, the US.

Right, a single indivisible state. Not a collection of states. That is what it is saying.
