Zone1 As Christians How Are We Supposed to Handle Evil?

Indeed, yet it still doesn't dispel that GOP members were in the Klan.
What bad acts did they do? How does it compare to what the Democratic Party did for 150 years?

Understand first, that the Mosaic law is still in place at the time of Christ. Both Christ and the Jews He preaches to are under Law. But Christ is now promising the Kingdom that had been promised to Israel in the Old Testament, was at hand. He their King was bringing in the Kingdom.

The 'Sermon on the Mount' is the Law of that coming Kingdom. It is the Kingdom that John the Baptist first preached, (Matt. 3:1-2). And that Christ would preach. (Matt. 4:17) And (Matt. 5-7) are the laws of that Kingdom. And it is Law, even more strict than the Mosaic Law. Not just 'thou shalt not'. But did you want to?

Under that Kingdom rule, Jesus Christ, the King, will rule over Israel who in turn rules over the whole world. It is the 1000 year Kingdom reign as promised in the Old Testament . And He will rule with a rod of iron and in righteousness.

But that Kingdom never came. Because the Jews killed their King. And the Kingdom was not set up. It is yet for a future day, and it will come at Christ's 2nd Coming. But for now it is still future.

Point being, the laws of that future Kingdom cannot be expected to follow without Christ present on the earth ruling in righteousness. And those laws are to believing Israel at that time, who will be the leading nation of the world.

The Sermon on the Mount is not the law governing the Church. The Church didn't exist till (Acts 2). The Church operates under the Apostles teaching after the Church began. Most especially that of Paul.

In other word's you're attempt to apply something over the Church, which is not directed to the Church, is amiss.

Even Woodrow Wilson?

As president of Princeton, Woodrow Wilson enacted policies that prevented black students from attending the college. These policies remained in place until the early 1940’s. As President of the United States, Woodrow Wilson ordered the racial segregation of the Civil Service and banned blacks from using the same restrooms, cafeterias, and office areas. He blacks from appointed positions. He openly supported Jim Crow laws. He embraced the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) and screened the KKK movie “Birth of a Nation” in the White House. Woodrow Wilson was personally responsible for setting Civil Rights back 50 years.

"[Reconstruction government was detested] not because the Republican Party was dreaded but because the dominance of an ignorant and inferior race was justly dreaded." Woodrow Wilson

"The domestic slaves, at any rate, and almost all who were much under the master’s eye, were happy and well cared for." Woodrow Wilson

"The white men were roused by a mere instinct of self preservation … until at last there had sprung into existence a great Ku Klux Klan, a veritable empire of the South, to protect the Southern country." Woodrow Wilson

"Segregation is not a humiliation but a benefit, and ought to be so regarded by you gentlemen." Woodrow Wilson

No, I just showed you what the Kingdom is.

Ypu are no Christian, you forgot that Christ commanded you to love yer enemies not to hate them.

So then does that mean we should love Satan?

Freedom of speech does not need to be re-examined. What needs discussion and debate are consequences for filth speech. One of our most powerful laws is, Innocent until proven guilty. Therefore the glut of racist, Nazi, fascist, etc. must have consequences. Any government official should automatically forfeit his/her office. Media personnel are fired. Ordinary citizens face a hefty fine....based on Innocent until proven guilty. No one can call/label anyone 'racist, Nazi, fascist', etc. until proven beyond reasonable doubt according to the actual definition of that word. Instead, try 'buffoon', 'dunderhead', 'chump'.

Exactly as I would classify mocking somebody's murder as a hate crime.

So then does that mean we should love Satan?

We hate the sin but not the sinner ... just that judgements are left to God to mete out ... "There are those who die that deserve to live, and there are those who live who deserve to die; it's not our place at this time to decide" --- The Greytoothed One (aka Gandalf) ...

God prohibits lying, yet the US Constitution protects lies ... we tell our wives we had a beer or two after work, it's a lie of omission to not say it was at a titty bar ... not a crime but it certainly is sin ...

God so loves His creation, He won't even destroy Satan ... His Son so loved his brethern, he begged God to forgive those who were NAILING HIM TO THE CROSS ... yeesh that takes guts ...

Exactly as I would classify mocking somebody's murder as a hate crime.

Are you sure you want to criminalize the act of mocking someone's politics? ... well, with 2/3's of each House and 3/4's the States, we can also have a State Church and stop all these stupid stupid petitions for redresses of grievances ...

We can save tax dollars by forcing homeowners to quarter our military troops ...

I was just thinking about this when I saw this video as this man says what I've been thinking all along and criticized on here for by mostly the left but even the right a bit,... That these people who go around celebrating the death of a man that was assassinated for simply just voicing his opinion.

I got told that Jesus wouldn't want me calling them demons and that's when I ask you all really? Really?? Isn't that how demons act? Aren't we supposed to call evil evil? Didn't Jesus Christ Himself drive away evil? Wouldn't Jesus Christ Himself be casting these evil entities out of these people?

That's where I got criticized again when I was saying that I think that we should re-examine the freedom of speech and where the line is drawn because evil like this disgusting filth coming out of people needs to be destroyed. Legally of course not by murder.

So I'm just wanting to know where I'm going wrong here because although I've prayed to be forgiven for any unknown sin here I honestly don't see where I'm going wrong. :dunno:

IMO, "Demon" is a subjective term, especially when applied to this or that person. Other than demons apparently can operate in ways we might describe as 'demonic.' The killing of Charlie Kirk could easily fall into that category.

Jesus is quoted in the New Testament as saying anyone calling another 'raca' or 'fool' is in danger of hell fire.

Matthew 5:22 - But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.

As always it is difficult to accurately discern all the meanings of such passages as Jesus certainly was angry with people from time to time. The money changers at the Temple for instance.

I think he said we should not be angry and retaliate without very good evidence. And we should not be using words that insult and demean another, especially in anger, that have no substance in fact. He called the Pharisees 'hypocrites' but he gave them a very specific example of why that was accurate.

I think the lesson is for disciples of Christ to measure their words and their motives for using them.

This is sort of off topic but it relates to it because I consider it to be evil, but the persecution against Christians needs to end as well. Nobody should ever, EVER be fearful of sharing the gospel, but that it is something that I'm now constantly fighting against.

Matthew 10:14 and Mark 6:11.

Yes, but it's a whole different ballgame now that a man was just assassinated for his beliefs or I should say his knowledge of truth.

You define mocking a man's murder as politics?

It's certainly not science ... if it's not politics, what is it? ... what would you call it? ...

Bonus question ... what EXACTLY was the victim doing when he got capped? ...

We agree the murder is a crime ... and I am sad about it ... I only agree that cracking jokes about is in bad taste, but it's not illegal ... we should outlaw Charlie Kirk's speech to begin with, save us the trouble ... just more conservative vomit reeking of runny cowshit ...

Speech is Free ... Murder is a Crime ... there is a difference ...
