True, most people who own guns are responsible gun owners, therefore you should appreciate the effort to have better background checks and all the agencies involved working together so people don't fall through the cracks. That I don't see how this would adversely affect responsible gun owners. It would help root out the irresponsible gun owners. The criminal gun owners remain a problem for our law enforcement officials. I wouldn't want those people possessing guns, do you ?We aren't keeping our heads in the sand. You guys are targeting law abiding gun owners thinking that will do something for gun crime. It won't.
We want to keep the gun criminals we capture locked up...instead of letting people like you release them over and over again.
The shooters engaged in these gang shootings, the shootings you are talking about, have criminal records, have been captured before, have multiple felonies....and the democrat party judges, prosecutors and politicians let them out of jail and prison.....and then they shoot people.....
Stop letting them out, and you reduce gun crime.....
