It is just a generalization of what ICE seems to be looking for and arresting on site, on the streets, without regard to country of birth, citizenship, or immigration status. It ain't a good time to be caught on the streets, highways, grocery stores, at regular immigration check-ins, or even wearing firemen's uniform fighting fire, if caught looking brown. Any brown skin is good for an arrest quota number, then thrown in a cell, not even able to make a phone call, sometimes for days, until charges dropped.

In this case, of the three arrested in Mesa county by local authorities, these assholes are definitely not white assholes. I tried to look up information on them with ICE mentioned in the search argument, curious to see if they were on the ICE radar, as they are obviously into drugs, murder, and mayhem. No Luck. I do not know if normal citizens are supposed to know who ICE is actually looking for vs who they stumble across, while picking the low-hanging fruit of their racial stereotyping to make numbers for the MAGA crowd.

The premise of the OP is spot on…NOBODY even half sane would ever call Mexicans white. All governmennt agencies, state and fed should be required to report data accurately by reporting Mexicans as hispanic/latino. It’s not fair to blacks, why should only brown people be able to ride the coattails of white folks and hide within their spreadsheets?

They are they only two we are discussing at the moment. I will say it again, Hispanic is an ethnicity, not a race.

My grandson's father was black. His own father was Puerto Rican, and his mother was black from Georgia. His father was like a white person with a good tan. His mother was a dark brown. When he grew up, he was always classified as black because of his skin color, which was the same as his mother. Oddly, my ex-son-in-law's older brother is as white as the day is long and married a woman from Russia.

My grandsons could not be more different. Same mother and father. My daughter is white with blondish brown hair like me. The oldest is about 5 ft 9 in and has the same white skin tone of his mother and thus me. His hair is black and wavy. His younger brother is 6 ft 3 in, has an afro hairstyle and has skin like milk chocolate. (In fact, a kid that looks just like him is the star running back for my college's football team, and he's "black".)

What race are they? Their last name is Hispanic. My wife's maiden name is Hispanic, yet she has blonde hair and green eyes. She's white. Her mother and father are Alabama rednecks and I say that with all the respect I can muster. Her mother was a saint.

Are my grandsons Hispanic? Not really, as they were raised mostly in my house. Neither one speaks a word of Spanish. They do like Mexican food a little, but not that much more than others. Are they white? Not with one having chocolate skin and an afro! Are they black? Not with white skin and wavy hair. They are brothers and are mixed race black and white. That is what they are listed as on their school documents. Mixed! No Hispanic to be seen as it is reserved for ethnicity, which they are not.
