ARMY OF THUGS: ICE breaks into private home without a warrant assaults home owner (4th Amendment is trash)

Fourth Amendment

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Was actually written to ward against redcoat intrusion. Applies to red hat intrusion too.
It's in the constitution of the United States of America.

We are going to go broke from all the lawsuits that will be paid eventually by this piece of shit organization. Defund ICE.

The 4th amendment is trash. It isnt worth the 250 year old paper it is written on.

"They're inside my house with no warrant—I'm a U.S. citizen!" she tells 911 operator. "He's not an immigrant!"The adults in the family—who were trying to protect the young children also present in the home—did manage to chase the 2 ICE agents away before they were able detain anyone. The incident occurred in San Antonio, Texas.

What an idiot. Those agents were walking out and would have simply driven away.

But, he chose to assault the trailing agent with the door of his house. So, he should have been arrested for that assault. ICE de-escalated instead, to their credit. There should be warrants for the adults in that house and they should be investigated by CPS.

Of course you don't get to hit people with doors, anymore than you get to hit people with your car.

What is wrong with you?

Maybe they should have shot his ass and kicked his puppy. I am over you *****. I will be celebrating this world in a few years knowing how old most of you on this site are.

Could be, but don’t you argue that in front of the court? Not at the door?
Yup. At your trial. When you are trying to get the 10 lbs of cocaine found in your bedroom thrown out of evidence.

Is the alleged US citizen the owner of the house? That has not been established.

LoL!

That's really your reaction to being shiwn that you were wrong? You may be much younger than I; I don't doubt it. But Son, if you are any older than maybe twenty, you should have leared by now that nobody lives a whole life without ever finding out they're wrong about something.

As far as you cackling about outliving all the old farts on this board, you might be tempting karma with that one.

I don’t agree with the tactics of the officers but what got the home owner was the slamming the door on the officer. That is considered assault by them and gives them the right to arrest you. It sucks and is a shitty thing to do but.

It’s the same concept as when you see an officer put their foot in your door way, even if they are outside and not invited in. If you try to shut your door and you shut it on the officers foot, that’s assault and gives them the right (in their eyes) to arrest you.

I totally disagree with this tactic as it’s bullshit, but, that’s likely what they did

I would do the motion to suppress prior to trial

Then you don’t need a trial
