I believe we are happiest when we use our talents and live in the present. If you can be alone with your thoughts for more than 5 minutes, you are doing better than most. Most need distractions.

I am satisfied.

I can't remember a time in my life when I haven't prioritized contentment over happiness. I love contentment as it is steady and mostly predictable. Happiness is fleeting. I like and need a contented "center" and I do what it takes to achieve that. It isn't a permanent thing all the time, but it is close and something I strive for. Nothing is ever perfect all the time but the good times far outweigh the not so good times. It is a do unto others as you would have them do unto you attitude that I strive to live by and it is very easy. It is very sweet.
