I'm getting older and have time to reflect. The major problems we have today are a result of the political actions taken in the 60's by the democraps. The democraps in the 60's knew that strong families usually voted republican and they sought to break that and started a political war against the family. Just look around today, we have masculine women trying to be men and feminine men trying to be women and over 100 genders, all of which have no idea how to define a woman. And how many single mothers are now out there raising delinquent children? The foundation of sane society, the family, has been murdered by the democraps. The democraps destroyed the fabric of society to get more future votes, and never gave anything of value to the American people since the 60's. Just destruction and moral decay. It's time to vote the democrap party out of office for good.

Does this story really surprise anyone more than it disgusts/enrages and terrifies, especially in the wake of Charlie Kirk's heinous assassination. In all fairness, many of you thought at the time that the murderer would either get off scot-free or with some sort of slap on the wrist. Truth be told, even I thought that that wasn't going to happen and here I am with egg on my face:

The dozens of leftists crowding the narrow sidewalk outside the Manhattan Criminal Courthouse less than a dozen blocks from Ground Zero testified to the fact that Luigi Mangione was a political terrorist, part of a radical movement, killing on behalf of a larger cause. Why else was a mob wearing ‘Free Luigi’ t-shirts and caps associated with a Nintendo video game character hanging around an unappealing stretch of Center Street that not even a feeble attempt to stick a mostly unused park between the courthouses and government buildings could make livable.

It’s not about left or right. It’s about the oligarchy/globalists who have all the political power and enormous wealth. It’s a class struggle not a political struggle.

The empire is dying before our eyes. Thanks to corruption, criminality, lack of values, arrogance, imperialism, etc….

Concurrently, the political class becomes increasingly tyrannical in order to hold the collapsing edifice together. In the final stages, tyrannical efforts increase in both frequency and magnitude in order to maintain the subjugation of the masses for as long as possible.

Years ago, Doug Casey stated, “When empires die, they do so with surprising speed.”

At the time, that comment raised eyebrows, yet he was quite correct in his observation.

Ernest Hemingway made a similar comment when a character in his novel The Sun Also Rises was asked how he went bankrupt. The answer was, “Gradually, then suddenly.”


Great countries are built upon traditional values – industriousness, self-reliance, honour, etc. But empires are distinctly different. Although it may seem to be a moot point, an empire is a great country whose traditional values have led it to become unusually prosperous. There are many countries, both large and small, that are “great” in their formative values, but only a few become empires.

Yes, the prosperity is brought about through traditional values, but a great country becomes an empire only when its prosperity is sufficient to allow it to branch out – to invade other lands – to plunder their assets and subjugate their peoples.

We tend to grasp, through hindsight, that this is what made the Roman Empire possible. And we accept that the Spanish Empire was created through its invasion of the Americas and the plundering of pre-Columbian gold.

In every case, the pattern was the same – expand, conquer, plunder, dominate.

At present, the US empire maintains an illusion of dominance, but it cannot withstand a test. A defeat in warfare, a collapse in finance, the loss of the dollar’s reserve currency status, or any one of a host of triggers that are now looming would be sufficient to drop the US to one knee overnight. All that’s needed is for one of the triggers to be pulled.

It matters little what the event will be; it’s sufficient to understand that we are now drawing quite near and that the event is unavoidable.

Historically, when an empire dies, all the notes suddenly come due.

The political class of any empire arrogantly depends upon allies to do as they’re told, yet, when a decisive blow is dealt to the empire, those who had once been loyal allies are now as ready to abandon the empire as rats would abandon a sinking ship.

When this happens, the crutches that the empire has been counting on to hold it up pull away quickly. The collapse will have occurred “gradually, then suddenly.”

Once this is understood, the question for the reader becomes where he wishes to be when the edifice falls; whether he has prepared an alternative situation that will increase the likelihood that he will survive the debacle with his skin on.

IMHO, sooner or later there is going to be a major change in governance. We are running debt and deficits that are unsustainable that are going to create a necessity for change, that I think could and will require a reorientation of priorities for both parties with mostly a reduction in spending plus some tax increases. In general, we could also see a return to more traditional, conservative policies, but if and when that happens is anybody's guess. We can't continue on the path we're on.

This is why we were founded as a Republic, NOT a democracy. No democracy in Human History has survived for any length of time. Republics fare well until they inevitably become decadent and cowardly.
