Bad government is never "justified". If what the Biden admin did exceeded their authority (and I agree that it did), we should work to make sure that can't happen again. Not use it as an excuse to go hog wild with more government abuse in the name of "getting even".

They already did it for four years, during the Biden administration. The largely Obama-appointed/promoted senior leadership at DOJ/FBI did it during the first Trump administration. That's what led to the current vendetta. It did not appear out of the ether, or happen because Trump is deranged and only imagines enemies using the power of government to go after him and his followers. Democrats did that.

Don't forget what Dems said over and over during the last eight years: Regardless of the motivation of the prosecution, if they did not commit crimes, they would have nothing to worry about!

The solution is for Dems to ask Trump to sit down and negotiate and end to the lawfare, and for both sides to honor the agreement knowing now that the GOP is capable of beating the Dems at their own dirty game.
