I have a personal story. I was raised by democrats. I voted only for democrats once I was old enough to vote. This went on from Kennedy to Carter. Carter really shook me up. I was upset I voted for him. As president he was not the kind home builder. He was vindictive. I saw the economy tumble down. I saw people fighting over him. I decided to do a full investigation. I went to the Founders and worked forward until Carter. I realized I was totally wrong to ever vote for any Democrat. I quit them. Voting for Republicans has made me feel so clean. I now have a direct path to goodness. I never will support any Democrat.

I've noticed recently in this forum that there is a regular clique of extremists who instinctively leap to defend trump no matter what he does, even when he posted abusive depictions of the Obama's this morning. I did some counting and find that the hard core posters are numbered only about 24 or so.

The bulk of racism, bigotry and support for state crimes is really just that small bunch, so are these extremists really just a speck of dust in the real world? the kind of people you very rarely run across in the outside world?

The site has 47,998 so these cult devotees represent about 0.05% of the user base, they are nothing, just extremist weirdos who post their hatred here because that's all they do with their lives.

We are not a tiny minority of the Republican Party. The majority of the American citizens that voted in the 2024 election, voted for Donald Trump for the following reasons.
Actually closing the border.
Removing illegal migrants.
Get oil drilling back.
Getting business back to the United States to help the economy.
Put tariffs on nations that put tariffs on us.
Reduce inflation.
Reduce crime.
Actually work hard on the drug war.
Rebuild our military.
Work at making things more affordable. In red states, gas costs are down. Grocery costs are dropping.
Protect our Constitutional rights, which the left was attacking.

They aren't the majority by any means, but there is enough of them infesting the Republican Party that they routinely choose losing candidates to run in races they should be able to win.

When a person enters a voting booth and is alone with that ballot, that's who they really are.
