It didn't state what the UK actually wanted, which is what real referendum do say... I come from a country thqat averages one every 18 months...

The UK show have sent Farage and Boris over to Europe and other major trade partners (US, China,...) and see what deal was on the table...
Then have a referendum on that against staying in the EU.

There was no way on all polling that leaving and getting those other deals was going to win... EU would have sweeten the EU pot for UK, just make sure...

Cheltenham racing is on this week... Used to go there 25 years ago, Cheltenham was way ahead of Ireland... Roads cleaner, Parks looked lovely, all shops open, everything that was meant to be new looked new and in good condition...

Went to it two years ago... Sorry but gone way down hill especially since Brexit started to kick in properly.. Maintence is down, broken footpaths, things are broken... Shops are closed... The country pubs which used to be packed are barely half full and the owners are saying the economy is dead...
Soup kitchens are at an all time high...

Why did UK join the EU(ECC at the time)?
Because they were the sick man of Europe with growth rates lagging behind their neighbours...

Even after joining it took at least 10 years before the econmic engine really felt the extre juice of free trade and other extras...

Brexit is not exacting that toll on UK... It is slowing down growth in comparison to neighbours and more improtantly income inequality grows especially Regionally...
