Are God deniers and climate change deniers equally flawed?

It struck me recently while interacting with devoted climate change deniers, that their reasoning has much in common with atheists - those who deny that God exists.

Both positions claim "there's no evidence" for God/climate and when asked what would they consider as evidence, they start to go around in circles.

How many Trump supporting "Christians" realize that they are climate atheists? I wonder, I wonder if they ever think for themselves.

There's far more evidence of climate change than there is of God. This is where you argument has a massive flaw.

There is ZERO evidence of God. What "evidence" people use for "God" is often not actually "evidence".

Also, it depends on your definition of "God".

Whereas climate change is something real.

You might be talking about "man made climate change", which is different.

Scaring people is something universal. Some do it in order to make things happen, others to stop things from happening. Happens on both sides.

Usually what happens is the scientists come up with some conclusion, and others use that information badly, and make out it says something it doesn't.

Religion uses "hell" to scare people into doing something. How much evidence is there of "hell"? None at all.

So, the science paper says "12 years until we can't stop temperatures rising above a certain point". AOC changed that because she probably didn't read it properly, didn't care to read it properly etc, and it became "until we die" and then from that it became "until the world ends".

The world will not end. It'll outlive humans, unless we can really mess things up.

Existence itself is evidence. Everything around you and in you is evidence. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting evidence. Maybe learn the difference between evidence and proof.

The theory of man made climate change is a religion to the left. First of all you have to have faith and disregard what your senses tell you and trust the dogma. You have to do penance if you feel comfortable or look forward to warm weather because religious warmers never have a good day.
