You’re right, we don’t know why or why not this guy did what he did, and you’re right that people are using this tragedy to try and highlight a wave of anti Asian violence and bigotry thats has been surging as of late so they can demonize the hateful rhetoric and hopefully reduce the violence. Now why you wouldn’t support that cause beats me, but it sounds like the wrong side to be on.It's called being honest so your confusion is understanble you see some of us don't try and use every tragedy to push the political narrative of our choice. From the moment this story broke the left has tried to use it to push a race and political storyline nevermind no evidence has been presented to support that claim the shooter himself has told police that his motive was because of his alleged sex addiction and yet the left still tries to push there prefered agenda of race and politics. Maybe this man is telling the truth maybe he is not I don't know neither do you or anyone else here or in the media what I do know is I am not the one trying to push a narrative for the shooting to support a political viewpoint the one's doing that are not playing dumb they are dumb something you should seriously think about even though we all know you wont.Haha. Playing word games now? You could also say all crimes have some degree of mental illness and insanity. But like with hate crimes we have a system to determine what qualifies. You seem to just want to play dumb to that. Why’s that?If we want to get technical pretty much all violent attacks against another person are based on hate to some degree so really all violent attacks are hate crimes.
