You dont stop a riot you try to contain it for two reasons. A riot is a release of tension. Any idiot knows this.
No efforts were made to contain it. Leadership failure #1
No efforts were made to enforce the curfew in Minneapolis until last night. Leadership failure #2
No efforts were made to arrest the looters and arsonists running rampant on the streets in Minneapolis. Leadership failure #3
The Mayor of Minneapolis-St. Paul gave the order for police to abandon the 3rd Precinct. The rioters burned it to the ground. Leadership failure #4
All the first responders were forbidden to enter the city to put out fires and enforce the law. Leadership failure #5
Governor Walz did not activate the National Guard until the 3rd day of rioting. They did not show up until Saturday. Leadership failure #6
A riot is a source of chaos and crime. It affects innocent people, therefore, for the sake of your fellow citizens, you work to stop the riot not give them free reign to destroy your city.
In this context, if you fail to keep the peace, you have failed in your duties as a leader.
You know nothing about leadership.
