Worth reflecting on the fact that Don Lemon wasn’t treated this way by the people whose church he stormed into. They don’t revere journalism; they simply want the power to violently enforce their preferences with regard to which journalists get to do journalism.

Then mobs can be arrested and sent to jail for violating the First Amendment and that includes "Journalist" that violate the law..

Congress shall pass no laws…

Applies to the actions of Government not the press

Yes they are
But Don Lemon was arrested for reporting not assault and battery
Reporting was not the charge.

Lemon accompanied his co defendants, went inside and disrupted a church service. He did this with foreknowledge and planning (conspiring) with his co-defendants. He did this conspiring with his co defendants to conceal the actions in advance.

The Grand Jury indictment asserts in two overt acts Lemon Livestreamed he knew it was disruptive as intended.

Blatant self-incrimination in FACE Civil Rights violations.

This is what happens when the Governor and the Mayor declare they have the right to decide which federal laws they will obey and which they won't obey. Now the mobs they have out to attack ICE agents have decided which state and local laws they will obey and which they won't obey.

Lemon did not disrupt the service.
He went into the Church to report an event

Churches are open to the general public and encourage people to come in
