A 24 story highrise apartment tower in London burned for nearly a day. It was entirely engulfed in flames. After the fire was extinguished remarkably the tower was still standing! Remarkable because on 911 three towers "collapsed due to fire" even though they burned for less much time and the fires were far less involved.

Yes, flammable materials in the Grendel's tower caused it to burn like a Roman candle yet the tower did not collapse!
Why? Because steel frame construction is also known as fire proof construction. Hydro carbon fires can not burn hot enough to cause insulated steel structural elements to soften or weaken, thus no collapse.

From what I have read, it seems the reason for the collapse of the trade tower is mostly related to the design. A light weight perimeter tubing was used so the buildings would stand up to the wind load and huge static load. However it was not designed to stand up to the dynamic load of collapsing upper floors. A 20 inch movement of a floor was enough to bring down all lower floors. Thus it came down like a house of cards. Once one collapsed, it was all over. I would suspect that this apartment building design was much different from the trade towers. The trade towers were about 5 times the height, an office building not an apartment house with different building codes and different environmental problems.

Thanks for regurgitating the "Official Conspiracy Theory ". Aviation fuel is just kerosene. Ever see a steel kerosene lantern melt or soften? I've burned fires in a wood stove hot enough to make it glow red, the steel never softened or weakened.

The exterior structure of the twin towers was anything but light weight. There was more mass in the exterior columns and spandrel plates just in the area affected by the "plane" than the total mass of the plane. Steel is three time as dense as aluminum and twice as strong. The idea that a plane could penetrate the tower without slowing down, without bending, crumpling or breaking, without any debris falling from the "contact" point and that there would be no explosion until the entire plane had penetrated the building is ridiculous.
Watch the Hezarkhani footage and try to convince yourself that it is a real collision. What we see should look more like an egg hitting the floor than an arrow piercing a sheet of paper.
